Sustainability Council

The Sustainability Council is a collaborative networking group open to senior executives and their designees within NRF member companies. The council’s focus is on corporate social responsibility (CSR), environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) and related sustainability issues.

The NRF Sustainability Council provides members the opportunity to discuss best practices and spotlight key CSR, ESG and sustainability issues. The council works to identify specific opportunities to reduce business risk and costs, enhance brand value, increase customer and employee engagement, and create additional business value.

Meetings

The council convenes through a virtual call on the second Tuesday of every month and meets in-person at NRF Retail’s Big Show, held in New York City each January.

Eligibility

The Sustainability Council is open to senior executives and their designees within NRF retail member companies, such as the chief sustainability officer or VPs, directors and managers, CSR, ESG or at NRF’s discretion.
